Many things

The first thing is that today is my friend's birthday! You may remember him from all the Tiny Terrors pictures previously posted! Here's a Tiny Terrors birthday picture!

The second thing is that tomorrow is the feast of the Annunciation! Thus I have colored another page from Mary's Liturgical Calender Coloring Book, which, I again remind you, can be purchased here!

The wing design I took (sorta) from Fra Angelico's Annunciation, and the brightness I got the idea for from the Henry Ossawa Tanner version.
And think what your kid could do with it, if you bought the book! :D

Moving on, how's the weather doing? The snow is gone, indeed, but it's still quite cold, and snowing off and on, though not sticking.

Here's an interesting picture I took of some ice forming on gravel and roots.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't ready for it to warm up into Spring already, and that and other things... (grumble grumble doom), have put me on edge lately. So how do we remedy that?

With fudge of course!!!!!

Nothing is quite so nice as sipping still-hot-liquid-fudge through a straw.

Mmmmmmm

One of the few joys of being a grown up.

Runaways

The Runaways from Young Justice. (all except Asami; there wasn't room.)

And with that, I have used up the last page of my sketchbook. I thought I had a blank one waiting in the wings, but apparently not. And since there's nowhere we've found to buy art supplies within 60 miles, I've had to just order one and await its arrival. Until which time I'll just have to find something else to do.

What was the last picture in my previous sketchbook?
Why it was this one!

Which is back from 2012, it is. Meaning that the current one lasted a lil over two years. Clearly I need to draw more.

St. Patrick coloring page colored

Here I have colored Mary's St. Patrick coloring page, in anticipation of St. Patrick's day! You can buy the WHOLE COLORING BOOK, which has EVERY SAINT DAY OF THE LITURGICAL CALENDER, (something you won't find anywhere else, I should point out.) here!

RUNNING!!

A picture of Bart Allen, in reparation for this year's Lent comic not actually having him in it. The pose is copied from this panel from +Anima

From +Anima, art by Natsumi Mukai

In other news, winter finally does seem to be winding to a close.

These pictures are from yesterday, and there's been substantial melting since. Still a bit odd, as we seem to have gone from Minnesota-winter to Texas-winter, and I'm not sure that Texas-winter isn't just what'd be called spring around here. Hmm.

Tim Drake comic

This is the only explanation I can think of for the discrepancy.

(this counts as my Bart Allen comic for this year. Yes I'm being lazy. Be quiet.)

gorgeous boys

Bummed about having YET ANOTHER doctor's appointment tomorrow. Drew indulgent picture of a random selection of gorgeous DC boys.

Good day.

Snow chicken

It's sweltering today! Like, 30 degrees! Take a look see.

Lookit them drippins! Can you see 'em? Well suffice to say it looks to be raining when viewed from inside those windows.

In consideration for this warmth, I made a snow chicken.

Putted it right by the chicken house, I did. (Or hen house, more accurately, now since our beloved Handy Feety died.) I think it's unquestionably the finest snow chicken I have ever had! Hee hee hee!

frozed lake

Well we haven't had a photo post in a while. This is largely because there has been little change in the snowy snowy land all winter. But we went for a walk to Blue Lake the other day, and I got some nice pictures.
