Sad Ace Attorney hug

Ok I only said I SHOULD draw something other than Apollo, not that I was going to.

Sight and Sound

Here's a weird drawing!

I should prolly draw something other than Apollo sometime. But do not ask me to stop drawing Ace Attorney stuff, 'cause that's all you're gonna get.

Here's a bear!

Pooch is a small bear who lives in a little wooden crate with a bunch of other small stuffed animals. I don't precisely remember where I got him, but I think it might've been from Ben Franklin's, which was the finest toy/crafts/pet store you ever did see, but like all the best businesses in this dying little town of mine, is long since gone now.

But did you LISTEN??

Ok like, I WARNED you, dawg. The Ace Attorney fan art is ON now.

Too lazy to go photograph a bear today. Like I said, the bears live up the stairs, but I swears there'll be bears sometime somewheres, so come back later, if ye dares.

I need to do more obscure and violent ones

Continuing work on my fairy tale wallpaper.

If you want to see the individual panels bigger, they're all in my DA gallery

The hardest thing about this is making the grass and background trees a consistent thing in terms of color and regularity, but I think it's gone ok so far.

Two big achievements (guess which one I stayed up till 4:00 to finish)

Firstly, I finished a huuuuge amount of illustrations, which I've had in the works for months now. Here's the cover picture for it.

I really started getting into shading with this. Especially faces. Now that it's done, I'll have way more time for fan art, my fairy tale border, and the few commission jobs I've got pending.

Speaking of fan art, I just finished playing Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, and wow. This continues to be my favorite video game series ever! Which makes it all the more shameful how little I've drawn it. I've done a tiny bit of fan art, but nowhere near enough proportionally to how much I love it. I WILL FIX THIS SOOOOOON!!!!!!!

Till then, here's a bear that sort of correlates kindof?

Ralph was bought recently at a thrift store. He is named after Dogpound Ralph from the Hank the Cowdog series. What kind of baffles me is that he really seems to be one of those small-simply-made-bears-in-outfits, like doctor or teacher bears, that are meant to be given to your doctor or teacher, respectively. So.... I guess you're supposed to give this to your friend who's in jail? Well, that does seem like something straight out of an Ace Attorney game right there.

'The Golden Gentleman' would be a pretty good pub name...

Fan art for Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright. That game is so awesome!!!! I can't wait to play the next ones from each series... <3

Your pen and pencible

Yes Christmas post at the absolute last minute cuz I'm a last minute kinda guy!!

First of all are pictures of our marvelous decor. I've been trying really hard to figure out the settings and junk on my camera so the pictures look better. Let's see how we do.

Here's the tree. I'd rather have a pine, but the spruce grow on my uncle's land, and he lets us have em for free so...
Having left all ornaments of yesteryear in Texas, pretty much everything on there has been acquired in the past year: antique stores, garage sales, from Grandma, a bunch I found in the garbage at church back in Houston... It's still a bit spartan, (by our standards, which are apparently excessive in most people's minds??) but we'll keep getting more.
Here's some close ups.

Here's lights we put on the beam!

Here's outdoor lights!

(This one's from Mary's camera. Don't tell no mandy.)

Here's window frost with Christmas lights-lighting!

Here's what I made as a present for Casey!

Sora's hat from Digimon!

Screenshot from Digimon

She got me basically the awesomest thing ever, and it'll need like, it's very own post later.

Here's the only Christmas picture I drew! I might draw more! I might become one a those folk that say it's Christmas until Candle Mass just to suit my own procrastinating habits!

Dave is lookin' mighty fine...

And here at long last is the bear.

Santa Bear, as I believe he is named, we've had forever. He was one that never belonged to any one kid 'pecifically, and spent most of his time in the 'public stuffed animals' hamper, (which somehow eventually all became mine, I wonder how that happened.) or being used as a decoration. He seems to have a button in his paw, but it never did anything in all the time I remember, but that's okay.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Epiphany.
